RS Feva RoCup 2026: The Final Day of Racing with an Early morning start—In Pictures

The entire regatta was characterized by light winds—at times, no wind at all—which put both the race organizers and the competitors to the test. Ahead of the fourth day of racing, three races were successfully completed in light winds of 5–6 knots.

On the fourth day of racing, the organizers decided on an early start, and by 8:00 a.m., the competitors were already out on Lake Balaton in hopes of more valid races. From 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the organizers successfully held the fourth and fifth races of the competition in 6-knot winds amid intense, stifling heat. For the young competitors, a third race that day under the blazing sun was no longer feasible, and the organizers did not expect the wind to hold on the course. At 1:00 p.m., the on-water portion of the competition concluded, bringing the RS Feva Eurocup Áron Kutassy Memorial Regatta and the 2026 RS Feva Hungarian Championship to a close with five valid races.

The results were announced onshore at the VGYE Dinghy Port at 2:00 p.m.
