Register your support boat until juny 30st!

Leisure power craft are not allowed on Balaton for environmental reasons. Exceptions are safety and race committee boats for sailing events. However, these boats, no matter, how important they are, shall be registered and licensed several weeks before the event. This process is managed by sailing clubs of sailing associations.

For the Europeans it is possible to use support boats, they are very important for safety reasons. It means, your support boat with your coach and team members are welcome in Balatonfüred.

However, we have to apply for a special license for you. This administrative process takes its time. Therefore we ask every team with a support boat, to send us the following documents no later than March 31st:

  • a filled registration form to be found here
  • the power boats’s registration document (with registration number, engine’s data etc.)
  • a photo of the craft
  • the driving license of the driver who will drive the boat on Balaton
  • a third-party liability insurance policy of the boat.

The registration fee is Euro 350, if transferred until Juny 30th. Paid in cash at the registration, or transferre later, it costs Euro 400.
