RS Feva Eurocup and RS Feva Hungarian Championship – Áron Kutassy Memorial 2026

The 2026 RS Feva Eurocup is fast approaching. The VGYE Club is once again welcoming competitors from all over the world this year. We have hosted the event every year since 2019, with participation ranging from 26 to 72 boats. We hope a lot of you will line up at the start line for the races this year as well.

This year promises to be a special event for participants. For the first time, VGYE is organizing the competition almost entirely with its own team of organizers, led by an IRO-certified race director (Tibor Verebély) and an IJ-certified jury (Vilmos Náray).

The competition will be held at the VGYE Dinghy Port in Balatonalmádi; however, due to water levels in Lake Balaton, it is possible that the venue will be moved to Kékszalag Port in Balatonfüred. To help you choose appropriate accommodations, we will announce the final venue on our website by July 30. The lake has excellent water quality; however, due to the dry weather, the water is shallow along the shore near the VGYE Dinghy Port slipways. The water depth at the planned race courses is more than 2 meters, so the event is not in jeopardy. Please do not worry.
