The first day of the RS Feva Eurocup Hungary 2025 Áron Kutassy Memorial Regatta has begun.
Yesterday and the day before, a total of 28 boats registered for the only international RS Feva competition in Hungary. Competitors aged 9-18 will attempt to complete 12 scheduled races over the next four days.
On the day before the competition, seven foreign boats registered alongside the Hungarian competitors, who spent the previous days training at the VGYE Dinghy Marina.
This year, for the first time, the VGYE organizing team is providing the venue for the event at its own marina, which was built specifically for dinghies. VGYE has been working for 18 years to promote sailing among the younger generation in Hungary. At its site in Káptalanfüred, it provides sailing opportunities for 120-150 dinghies. The area covers 1.5 hectares, where a sandy beach (slipway) and a swing boat provide access to the water for the dinghies.
